CH Villa Jupiter La Marquesa Golf (Ciudad Quesada)

The large villa looks good and luxurious, but during the stay one realizes many small issues that other villas we had booked before, didn´t have. The owners seem to be very picky and peculiar when it comes to offering the house. We had to buy our own tea-towels and there was only one set of towels in general - no extras for outside-use at the pool. (which quickly ends you up in having wet towels - cause there is no time for them to dry after a shower and / or pool-session. Plus you usually don´t want to dry yourselve off the pool water and use the same towel after showering off the chlorine again..). Some of the bed sheets were obviously too small for the bed, so they came off all the time. (Quite annoying every morning). The bathroom above was filled with bad odour every day, which came out of the sewers - a phenomenon that we (not that much though) encountered in other villas there too, seems to be a "spanish"-problem there. Water-taps outside had been secured with security locks (why?), same with the fuse boxes. Second thing was especially annoying, when the power of the complete lower apartment failed two times after a short rain outside. Since there were only electric blinds which didn´t work then, the apartment was completely dark and therefore unusable half the day. We had to wait a good while until someone of Camelot Homes came to open it and reset the safety-switch. (would have been a lot easier, when the box had been open, so we could have told them on the phone). In general the owners don´t seem to trust the renters a lot. Warm water issues in two of the showers follwed, which couldn´t be cured during our stay, although Camelot gave their best. The stay was relatively comfy though, although we felt more cosy in other villas, even though they were a lot older and not as luxurious looking. There were many possibilities to sit together and the pool was large enough for everyone and the featured heat-pump took care of warm temperatures even in october. It is a nice place to go with a larger group that can be devided into two apartments to keep themselves separated if needed. Many thanks to Scott and Paco from Camelot for their once again great customerservice! We will rent another place next time though. ;)
